Thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone coming to the Detroit DIY event wants to come home with a table saw. Only getting rid of it because the shop at CSS is climate controlled , so I never use my garage shop anymore. I debated storing it until I can set up my "dream shop", but retirement is still a ways off. It's a 3-phase motor, but I've been running it with a rotary phase converter, which is available as well if needed. This allows it to run on 1ph 220V residential power.

This saw is definitely worth the hype. It's a brick shithouse and cuts as square, true and clean as anything I've ever used. Lot's of goodies included per below, but NOT the Jessem roller guides, which I'll be transferring to the CSS shop.

Powermatic Model 66

5hp 3ph Baldor motor

52" rip capacity

Left Tilt

Biesmeyer fence

Wixey digital readout

Mobile base
$1,350 for everything above and I'll throw in the integral router table/router and outfeed table if you want them.
$400 for the rotary phase converter, which has a 5hp motor itself, allowing the table saw to run at 3.33hp.

I'll give it a week or so here, then off to FB Marketplace.

Cost-wise doesn't make sense to ship the Velodyne, and I'm unfortunately going to have to miss Iowa. But my children drive out and back generally over the holidays and I could convince them to take any of these back to downtown Chicago for pick up.

Have a pair of minty beast nipple tweeters for sale. These are a touch dusty but are otherwise in like new condition. I used them in a Visaton waveguide for awhile, so the faceplates have been removed at one point. Excellent tweeters, and a noticeable upgrade over the other XT25 variants. Just thinning the herd - too many drivers sitting around.

These are currently $38 at PE but are back-ordered and may go up due to tariffs. I'm asking $55 shipped to the 48 for this pair.

I want to sell my pair of these. Little dusty but otherwise in great condition. Even have the mounting gaskets. I used them crossed at something like 350 or 400Hz with no problems. The measured distortion was below my noise floor. They sound great.

These are currently on-sale at PE for $85, regular I believe they are $100. I will ship these to the 48 for $100 - so basically half price.

There are very few 3" domes out there and these make for a great candidate for 8-10" based 3-ways.

Please contact me via PM here or at jr@midwestaudioclub.com. PayPal only, and note: my PP address is different than my regular email.

I'll post some pics later if anyone wants to see them.

Nice pair, bought from Madisound last year. NLA. Little bass pumps is what they are. Lots of Xmax and mechanical throw, super clean to 1500 Hz, clean enough up to 2000.

Spend as much as you want, and you will not get better unit-to-unit than this:

Just selling since they are sitting in a pair of bookshelf speakers I never listen to, and from which I cannibalized the tweeters anyways. So off they must go to their new home.

Note these are 4 ohm drivers.

Snapshot of T/S of one:

Build thread I did of a project using these:

If you can find them online, they are still going for around $150/ea. Not easy to find, so consider these collectible.

I only want $100 shipped to the lower 48 for these. They will be packed well and arrive safely.

PayPal only.

The drivers you see mounted in cabinets in the pics are being sold separately, and I'll pull them out to ship, but if you want both pair of drivers, I'll throw the cabs in for free if you want to pay the extra shipping cost.

There's a line of crud on the bottom of one of the cabs that stuck from sitting on a piece of foam for too long. I got it off with my fingernail and some alcohol, so I know it can be removed, and probably easier with a better cleaner, but I didn't bother getting it all off. Tried to take a picture, but it didn't show up great.

Team -
I got the deal of the century a few years ago when Dan P was cleaning up the shelves.
BNIB Thiel monster 12 inch sub for $145 out of pocket for me.
Unfortunately, fast forward a few years, and I just DO NOT have room for it in my living room.
So I'm selling.
In all fairness, since I got the deal here, I can't ask for more, but how about an auction,
Any money over $145 gets donated to the MAC. I think that's a win win.
So here it is!

Selling my Adcom GFA-5500. $550 shipped. It sounds amazing and looks pretty dammed good too, with a couple small nicks and scratches. She's for sure had less than 50 hours of listening time since I had her recapped about 4 years ago, so it should be rock solid for another couple decades.

I'm 46, about to be 47 in a few days. I've been playing rhythm guitar on acoustic for a quarter century and I love it, but it's time I get some distortion in my life. I want a little wah-wah. When I play "Creep" I want some real pain to come out of the guitar, not just a harder acoustic strum. "Back in Black" just doesn't have the same weight on acoustic. You know what I'm saying.
There seem to be any number of decent electric guitars on the market for a few hundred bucks, but I know some people collect them like we all collect drivers and amps and xo parts. Just wondering if anyone of my people here has an extra axe that's looking for a home in exchange for some random drivers, xo parts, or a pair of Outlaw 2220 amps, etc., or even cash if it makes sense. Lemme know and Happy Holidays!
