The new SB26STWG is available at Madisound. I'm not sure I'd take it over the Wavecor TW030WA11/12 for a few bucks more, but here it is. It's smaller overall than the TW030WA11/12, both is dome and waveguide size.
It's a SB26STC with a small waveguide attached. It'll improve diffraction effects from the baffle, and gets a couple dB sensitivity boost, the only real issue is that they've doubled the cost for this option, as the standard SB26STC is about $35
It has a similar FR over impedance relationship as the Dayton waveguide tweeter. I can speak from personal experience that makes things very difficult to use. From a diffraction mitigation standpoint, it will be a definite upgrade over a flat wave-guide, sure, but they could have done better.
The standard TW29BN is "only" $385, so you pay $41 for the waveguide. Not too bad, but I'd like to see the entire 29mm line available with the WG option, not just the Be model. A TW29DNWG for around $200 might actually be a good competitor to the classic Scan-Speak 9900. Or maybe a SB29RDWG for around $100, that would be something.
Still cheaper than many of the Mundorf AMTs and the large RAAL ribbons, and the Seas Excel Be tweeter. Only a little less than an Ellipticor tweeter, but you probably have to buy them all to determine which is best for your application, that's what will really break the bank
