Well, since so many of us are temporarily out of a job I've been surfing the tube.
Kind of boring for some but I find modern technology stuff like this pretty interesting.   AC motors spinning DC generators putting out 33 volts @4500 amps to drive the tubes.  10inch coax to the antenna.  37,500 pound transformer.

    Not sure when this was produced but I remember watching the original as a young, intoxicated teenager.   Heavy Metal is one of those must watch movies, along with Pink Floyd's The Wall.  Probably doesn't hurt to be a little bent either.
