    This is actually quite cool for those with access to a 3d printer, CNC, laser cutter. You often find yourself needing to match a curve profile of an existing object as a vector, this gets you a profile that you can trace on a piece of paper, scan, and convert the bitmap to vector. I may just pick one up...

    I have a similar device that I used for auto body repair many years ago.  I may have to dig it up it and use it to duplicate my hand filed tweeter flare on my 20/20 project.  It would be a nice tool for that.
