So, seems I won't be able to sell these things, so looking for some 2way options to build a 5ch setup. Lou C has the C-Killas.... Ruby but NLA tweeter..... Talking sticks......

The design gives a good starting point. da25bg, xt25 (yes I'm fond of the xt), rst28, nd28, heck I'd imagine about any decent tweeter would mate with them. Whatever you choose, you have plenty of resources to help line things out.
I was thinking of mating them with whatever decent tweeter came up on sale/dotd, build em', and gift them to a friend.
I know of a couple. Jeff Bagby's Dreydels use the Seas 27TDFC tweeters. I have an older design with the BG Neo3PDR. I can dig up some info on that if you are interested.
Keep an open mind, but don't let your brain fall out.
This one's also from PETT, it's 10 years old but the Vifa BC25SC06 tweeter is still available; no idea what it sounds like, of course. XO looks rather complex:
Back about 10 years ago or so I built a design by Jeff Bagby (I thought they were the Dreydels?). Anyway they used the RS150S-8 and RS28AS-4. Pretty simple crossover and they sounded really great! Amazing bass from about IIRC 7 liters. Unfortunately I had one of my home brewed tube amps go wonky and it sent a lot of pure DC to the speakers and fried both woofers before I could kill power.....
Weren't we talking about this a couple weeks ago?

patrickm ... "main reason in both cases here was aesthetic. it probably does give a warmer tone because it's not as acoustically dead as denser materials."
Wow! Thanks guys, super useful and what's funny is I had stumbled on his design and it was top two. Some glowing rec's, so I'll definitely roll with it.

Here's one on Parts Express Tech Talk by noted designer PWR RYD (Craig) apologies, I don't know his surname:

At least in Oz, the drivers are still available

My apologies, that design is for the RS150P, you have the aluminium version.

It's cool, appreciate the look.....

Tyger23 did a TM with the XT25:

I did the Targas with a Tangband tweeter:

Patrick knows what he is doing, build his.
While I've never heard one of Patrick's personally, I absolutely agree that his pudding has proof.
