    I’ll admit, I like Mac stuff. I know it appeals to a certain crowd, but I like the style and liked the way any of the components I’ve heard sounded.

    ....but this..this is just stupid. But not so much as the guy who buys one I guess!

    I think I need to come out with a Sehlin Sound Solutions light box. It will be solar powered to handle things like Derechos, but will be constructed using scrap wood from the garage with unsanded exposed edges and Duratex finish. It will be engraved with a Sehlin Sound Solutions logo using the xcarve with dull bits and, of course, minimal to no sanding. Pricing will be at a nominal discount relative to the McIntosh Light Box.

    Ahhh, if they did that, time alignment would surely suffer. Then you'd need more blue LED's to bring the phase back in check.

    I recall an ad for a Lexus saloon that had a McIntosh sound system with woofers which had paper cones made with Japanese spring water. The sound system was, I think, an A$7,000 optional extra.

    Well, at least the sound system had a purpose, I don't know what this thing's supposed to do!

    Edit/mistake: the Lexus had a Mark Levinson sound system, not McIntosh. I still don't know what the 'spring water' was supposed to do.
