Wavecor Mad caps
I didnt want to derail Dans post . Some pictures of the Madisounds buyout 10uF caps. Yes I was a goober and measured all of mine, lol, as seen on the caps skin.

I can dissect further if needed and get closer to the core of the cap if needed.

I do believe the material to be mylar , it is similar to those safety sleeping bags you can get if you get stuck on the side of the rode. I will still test though, for science and the help and info from Scott.
Out of curiosity , I just tried to pull a single layer in half , its some pretty durable shit . Took some effort.

Yellow squished caps are generally polyester "mylar".

LOL. I measured mine also, and wrote the value on them. Didn't tear one apart though!
I guess the question is: who didn't measure theirs and write the value on them?
Mine are also all labeled with a Sharpie indicating an accurate value.
