so while i am waiting for stuff to arrive, i got an reply from another forum from somebodyelse who had build the amp a long time back and he send me the old pdf for this amp.
it had a recommended buffer in it, page 5 (attached). Help me understand the circuit and is that triangle thingie an op-amp (it's doesn't specify any no). What is the parts list required.
Yes, those values are correct. The 4.6 is the gain on the opamp. A TL072 opamp would probably work fine for that. A pot could be used where Rf is in that schematic to have adjustable gain. Something like a 5-10k.

so i think these are the part list
Opamp = ? not sure what to try
100R = 100ohm
100k = 100,000 ohm
3k6 = 3600 ohm
1k = 1000 ohm
cap is 100picofard?
what is ground here?
