I just ran across this on Facebook and it's pretty crazy. Someone built a working model of the Grateful Dead's Wall of Sound. You shouldn't need a Facebook account to look at the pictures.

looks like a fun project
series/parallel. That's actually easy. Connect 3 drivers in parallel and make 3 sets of these connected in series. You are basically back to the impedance of a single driver from the stand point of view of the amplifier with added sensitivity and maximum spl on the driver side.
That's some dedication!
