changing the value of a inductor

I have a coil measured at .40 but needs to be .35. Measured in mh on a meter would 3.5 be .35 or would that be a totaly different value?

    A 3.5mH coil is pretty huge! Check your scale on the meter.

    But Chahly - Stahkist don't want speakers that look good, Stahkist wants speakers that sound good!

    Is it an air core inductor or does it have magnet wire wrapped around a metal core?

    No core wraped around plastic.
