I'm torn on the look of the cone, it's not really my style but I like the concept of interwoven carbon fibre and kevlar, and I like the inverted plug. Datasheet for the 6" that's available looks like a stellar response, very tame breakup and extended response so it will be a very easy driver to implement.
I'm not sure about the dustcap, looks kind of cheap. I'm interested in what they are going to be priced at - I'm guessing they will approach Scan Speak or Satori territory.

Phase plug reminds me of old Focal types. Cone reminds me of older Usher 8".

You nailed it
Not fond of the look, but great HD and impressive Qms
christ! this is ugly
Listed at Solen, 18cm is CAD$262, 15cm is CAD$214.
the Focal spkr looks like what would be my first try using a CAD
WF182BD14 =$197.76 USD - $262.08 CAD
Too rich for me.
Guess you can always buy their rivals...wait...
Although the WF182BD13-04- 7" interwoven cf/kevlar MW with 5mm x-max had exemplary measurements in the August edition of Voice Coil test bench...
The cone's colour scheme is not attractive, IMHO:
I'd buy black on black, or white on white.
Driver prices keep going up and up.
Makes Audio Technology seem affordable. (shudder)
I was thinking of building a speaker for my kid’s e-drum kit; but it’s twice as costly as buying one off the shelf.
Wonder when it’s time to punch out of DIY…
They could have at least tried for a Paisley pattern for the retro folks . . .
