The increased cost of the speaker can be offset by the need for less back-wave attenuation material I presume?
IT looks like an awesome development and well suited to a 6" + coaxial (MW + T) speaker crossed to a subwoofer.
Obviously, a neo-magnet design is required.
Hope we see some available for testing soon - very cool stuff.
