Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! $22.65 | GHXAMP 4 Inch Woofer Subwoofer Speaker Unit HIFI 4ohm 40W Fiberglass Woven Basin Deep Bass Loudspeaekr Large Magnetic 1PC https://a.aliexpress.com/_mK92NdO
If it were capable of lowend dredging, I would expect to see a sensitivity of 80-83dB for a 4 ohm unit. 86dB 4" says no, and that it's likely more of a midbass. The only things to me that may change those numbers is if it were a DVC, or have a massive Neo motor.
Yeah, that is a bit high to be your average subwoofer. Now, if it were 60-65Hz, and of proper specs, an alignment could likely be made to work and sound good in the bass like expected. 80Hz for a sub Fs is not really keeping its specs favorable.

Sensitivity is 86 +- 3dB. Not extremely reassuring.

It's a 4" subwoofer. Seems about right.
I was really hoping that I could live vicariously through you guys and I would end up buying another driver...
