Looking for a ~4" mid/woof

So I have a pair of XT25SC90-04 that need to be used and I'm thinking a small (4L max) 2 way for the nursery.
I was thinking to get a pair of W4-1052SD and cross them high (~5k) like in the Amethyst.
Perhaps the RS100P would work as well.
But they are a bit pricey... So the unavoidable question, what would you recommend in the ~4" range?
The general idea to cross high sounds interesting and that tweeter seems to like to play above 3.5k better (from my own measuring).
So a full range-ish driver might be the best option.

The RS100P doesn't do bass, so for a two way will not work. Try one of the aluminum ones or go a bit larger.

Playing low and crossing high is generally gonna cost you in the 4" class. However, the 4" HDS with poly cone will fit the bill from a performance standpoint and is reasonably priced.

The new DSA might play nice up that high as well.

The DS/DSA work well also.....Peerless stuff is always a winner, but if I was buildin' the speakes, it would be with one of the above woofers. 

The DA work great as a pair with an 8" PR, just sayin'

The 4" SB Acoustics polymer frame drivers would be an option for you.  My Rhodium project will use the aluminum cone version in a 3L box.  I am crossing to a ribbon, so it will be in a similar range to what you are looking to do.

Is that the SB12PFC25-4?

Several good options, the DA115 looks good (if you trust their data sheet) at a great price.

I still have a month to think...

I am using the SB12PAC25-4

I have heard the DA115 a couple of times and agree it is a solid choice - particularly considering the price.
