So many memorable roles, both comic and serious.

I was a kid when he was in his early prime doing all those 60's era war/spy movies but he was still an active character in many espionage movies up until very recently. I liked him.
Check out "Eye of the Needle", a WW2 spy drama set on a remote island; few cast members but a good film. Kate Nelligan co-stars.

As weird as it may seem, my second favorite Sutherland role (behind his portrayal of Hawkeye Pierce) was his appearance in Beerfest. I laugh my ass off at his role every time I watch that movie. RIP
