These were on sale and I was needing some for the rears in the living room. Two tweeters and a dual voice coil woofer. Looks like I can disconnect the tweeters and woofer coils if needed. I'll run a sweep on them soon.
They look pretty nice. I'm curious how good the stereo effect can be with the tweeters so close. I'm guessing they expect you to hear the reflection more than the direct sound.
Quite a few ceiling speakers have tweeters that you can adjust to point in different directions...eg, if used for rear surround you can point them toward the main listening position. Can you point the two tweeters in different directions?
I can't adjust the tweeter direction. There is a switch that adjusts the tweeter padding. Each input is 4 ohm so I I'll have to think about how plan on using 1 per rear surround channel with my AVR.
