Thanks for posting, this has lots of good tips for making speaker grills
The old AndyG method uses a saw kerf in 4 cuts around the perimeter and then just uses screen spline to install it. No glue needed, and you can redo it if necessary.

A 1/8" router bit is what I use, that way curves and angles are easier to accomplish.
