Speaker stands
Im going to be in desperate need of atleast 2 sets of speakers stands here. Im in the process of building 5 pairs of stand mounts plus i have 1 existing pair.
Im looking for ideas and suggestions of things to incorporate. Like embedding wire through the stand so you dont have them dangling in the back etc. I'm looking for cool intricate type designs i can cnc. If you can recall any stand designs that tickle your fancy please link them.
One thing I wanted to do for some time now is to build a MAC theme inspired set of stands. I want to make one pair to be a custom "MAC" speaker stands ill engrave/cut MAC and midwest audio club on the stand so i want the mac forum involved with this design. My cnc drawing program doesnt allow me to assemble a drawing into the final product unfortunately but i can show individual pieces. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Skylan speaker stands are MASS-LOADING. Construction consists of a rigid central pillar which can be sand filled for mass loading. The base is 1 inch thick, and features die-cast threaded inserts for adjustable steel points or soft feet. The top plate is also rigid and non-resonant and incorporates high friction neoprene de-coupling pads to improve the speaker/stand interface.
