OK, so we all know the fewest 'most reasonably achievable' parts number for a 3-way crossover is Eight - 2 on the woofer, 4 on the mid, and a couple on the tweeter. Thing is, has anybody actually done it? I've never seen one before. I'm messing around with one right now that fits the bill - no resistors at all. Usher 8955A/Rival R176/CSS L22. Just about every other 3-way has taken anywhere from 12-16 parts per side, including 4-6 resistors.

My recent 2way I thought was doing good with 9 parts, 3 of those resistors lol
I know a guy who knows a guy.
My 3-way coax ended up with 3 caps, 3 inductors, and 4 resistors, but I've planned it for off axis listening.
