non-balanced to balanced converters- thoughts / suggestions
I'm considering an a/v processor / preamp and like the emotive XMC-1 for its balanced ouputs, but could go with their MC-700 (non-balanced outputs) at about ⅓ price and get a non-bal to bal converter for the long runs to rear surrounds. I would go with small active speakers for surrounds (going with 5.1 only) as the front sources will have a relatively short run to the amps.
If good with this as a 'sound' option, any suggestions re good converters? thx
