Have someone wanting me to turn a small cigar box into a BT radio but dimensions don’t allow for much, as I’m gonna try and keep a compartment for a few cigars.
Ive always been intrigued by the aura 1” full ranges and was thinking this is the perfect opportunity to try them, 3 per side. Leaving the compartment for cigars I’m left with roughly 45 cu in per side.
am I better off just using a 2”-2.5” driver or is there validity in using the three whispers? Thanks for thoughts fellas.

Take a look at the Celestion AN275 2 ¾ drivers; https://www.parts-express.com/celestion-an2775-2-3-4-full-range-compact-array-driver--294-2046
As well at the Tectonic TEBM46C20N-$B BMRs; https://www.parts-express.com/tectonic-tebm46c20n-4b-bmr-3-full-range-speaker-4-ohm--297-2157
I have played around with both (in applications above 240Hz) > good all around 'broad range' drivers, esp. when used in pairs / multiple in arrays

At the size of those Celestions, would I still need to consider comb filtering and account for it?
and although you can measure, doubt that at a listening distance you could 'hear' any issues.
