    Bill,

Was I supposed to post pictures of my speakers somewhere?

Per are discussion about soundstage, I do look for drivers that have good off axis response. That said I don't know that some of the planar drivers I've used are all that great off axis. The BG Neo 3's seem to work very well in the Krystals.

I think you can post both PM and non-PM messages with pictures, depending on where you post it, in addition to the regular thread posting. Not sure exactly how it works. Thanks for the tips on soundstaging. Good off-axis seems to make sense, because then you will be able to get a better match to your target curve when you run the optimizer. Maybe the good soundstaging comes from matching the overall shape of the target curve, even though the off-axis might bump above and below the target line here and there. I was talking to Nick and he said that for good soundstaging you always want good phase tracking above and below the Fc, either overlapping type tracking or parallel lines. But you don't want to "cross the streams" because then the two driver's phase will not blend together and they will sound like two distinct drivers instead of a single integrated sound source, if that makes sense. You have reached your final form. OK, not really, but you are still awesome in my book!
