Those Rivals are an older model (NLA) and do have balance drive motors.
They look great, the paper cone with a subtle fibre shimmer is classy IMO, and I really like that the cone is smooth, makes for easy cleaning with just a dry microfibre cloth. The Wavecor cones are bumpy, and you can still dust the off with a dry microfibre cloth, but it catches on all the little bumps.

If I remember correctly the Rivals are uncoated. I'm not sure why they discontinued that line. Maybe they will start it up again in the future.
