Here is my surprise of the week. This little guy has a goldish anodized aluminum dome, a very well thought out rear chamber and boom:
Very linear response with a slight downward tilt. Means it should be easy to control. Just as important as the low linear distortion - that nonlinear distortion is just great above 2K. Really refreshing to see such a thing on a $15, small form-factor tweeter. In fact, I suspect if it were to have a little copper added to the motor it would suppress it even more *and* raise the top end response a bit. Still, extremely workable as-is. Very satisfied with this little guy.
(Yes I know, same damn picture again - tough shit, deal with it. I'm lazy)
The tweeter overlay is 1/24 octave at a dumb gate. The others are 1/6 at a reasonable gate. Like I said, I'm lazy.
I have a signature.
