A friend of mine wants recreate this sound chair. I am curious if anyone attempted anything like this with good results sound-wise.
I am planning on multichannel DSP with bass shakers.
Opinions?
Because of the way our ears work, wouldn't we need the sound to come from the front a little bit, meaning you would need really long "wings" on a wing back chair? The height would also have to be dialed in, making it largely user specific?

I recommend the use of cheap drivers in this effort . . .
Nothing to offer brother but takes me back to the Fiero speakers in the head rests

Meredith did this at Indy last year? He had a detailed write up and used cheap drivers. Maybe some one has the details.
I sat in the Meredith chair last year. Was pretty cool!
Like bass headphones, even if one did have a small rub.

Does anyone have images of the Meredith chair?
Right around the 27 second mark you'll see it.

Meridith's deal was more focused on the bass being near field. He had the speakers up front playing too.
You guys gotta have Faith.

We can give this chair One More Try.
Ugh, that's awful.

Yesterday, I stayed up all night looking for the sun, then it dawned on me.
