My nephew is building a football cave. He is setting up his home theater with 4 screens for football. He wants to be able to watch 4 different games and toggle through the audio feeds so he only hears one game at a time. Any suggestions? No audio hardware purchased as of yet.

Audio switcher w/remote?

Yes, kegarator!
That adds an extra item into the chain but certainly looks like it would solve the problem.
I'm still waiting for a list of outputs on the tv's. I may be able to separate the audio and use multiple sources on AVR. I could be wrong but this would probably require the cable box(s) to send video straight to the tv. Would that create audio delay issues?
Not if you use the RCA outs from the TV's for the switcher.
Turns out his tv's have no RCA and hdmi (x3) input only but they do have toslink out so I guess he needs an avr with multiple toslinks.

I don't have enough concrete data to work with but you are on the right path - keep going . . .
Thanks for you help. Looks like it won't be as difficult as I first anticipated.
