I have one pair of Rival paper woofers (R176-P-08) and one pair of Rival coated Kevlar woofers (R176-KC-08) for sale.

Here is a pair of Rival R176-PVB-08. Based on the 'P' series, they are a Special Edition that were produced last year. I don't think I will get around to using them. These drivers are absolutely gorgeous and in mint condition. I hooked them up in my small boxes and they sound terrific.

The construction of the new drivers is a little better but I like this driver allot.
These have a different cone and surround than their new offering.

That is great to hear. I have four of those drivers which are next in line for my speaker projects. I'd love to see any measurements you take and any and all other info and impressions. I was thinking of doing a MTM or TMWW with them. Your comment "great midrange clarity" moves me more towards the MTM. Either design would be a tall and narrow (as possible) floor stander. Thanks!
I also got to listen to a set of TM speakers by one of their OEM customers which has the R176-P-08 and SS D3004/6600 AirCirc. Incredibly refined and natural sound.
I would like to pair the Rivals with the Aurum Cantus Aero Striction. I think that would be a real nice match as well.
They look identical to the KVC drivers.
