Airborne Drivers

Has anyone have any experience with the Airborne Carbon drivers? I am working on a small budget friendly build and the 5" ones are on sale at Solen right now.

    My experience with CF has been less than inspiring, at least for use as a midrange. I see the Airborne 5" has a nasty wrinkle around 1K - energy storage in CF cones is not an uncommon issue.
