  • This sucks.
  • One of the guys I followed when I got back into the hobby was Jeff B.   His contributions to the community are insane....and then you meet the guy and he's this unassuming, short dude - total rocket scientist - has all the time in the world for you....what? Holy cow....he's one of us regular guys??

    RIP Jeff B.

I'm attaching a video from Indy 2018 for those of you who don't really know this guy. Jeff was the first recipient of the DIY Audio lifetime achievement award.

  • The obit I read said he was 60
  • I talked with Christine today. They are holding up. Good moments and bad. She is planning a memorial service for some time in June hopefully.
  • Still at a loss for words. Another good one taken too soon.
My thoughts and prayers for his family and those that loved him.

  • Found a few videos with a few of Jeff's designs from InDIYana 2015. Has some of my favorite ones of his which i liked - Continuums, Spirit Winds, Testarossa.... along with Jeff's commentary about his designs

  • Matt's there at the helm as well... The KABLAMM!!! sub we built centrally located.

Good find those vids, Ani. That was a great year! Lightning (name much to Jeff's chagrin), Spirit Winds, Corian Continuums, Solstice, Testarossas (named for his wife Chris, he called his wife that sometimes).

I miss them both, and that was the last year both were present, IIRC. I'm pretty sure Jeff missed 2016 due to falling health needing a kidney, and was the reason for the Spirit Winds being built as possibly his last design.

Matt was there in 2016, later that year was the car crash.
