Just ordered parts to upgrade my HTPC. Asus H370M-plus, I5-8400, 16gb RAM, and 512gb M.2 drive. It's about the oldest I5 that supports Win11 should I choose that route. Currently I am running Linux Mint and loving it. However, I may install some games and input latency dependent, turn it into a 4k 65" gaming box. We'll see.
Anyways, insomnia is costing me a lot of fricking money these days.
Might have to see how loud the cou fan is, current rig is 100% fan less thanks to large heat sink on a 25W quad core Athlon. PSU is even fanless. Zero moving parts.
I have two of the kab230 2x30 watt. It has 2line level outputs that can be programed with a crossover/dsp. Can one kab230 feed another kab230, or will the redundant bluetooth and dsp mess things up, even if they are not needed?
My sister asked me to make her a dining room table and benches. Probably my fifth or sixth trestle style table but my first live edge job. The slabs were from an old sugar maple that needed to be removed. It lived a pretty rough life from what I can tell. The bench slabs have areas where there is bark inside. Maybe it split open from a lightning strike and healed over. It is interesting how the scars and defects are desirable to the end user.

The only output I see on the quick-start wiring guide for the KAB-230 is mono. The KABD-4100 or KABD-430 are designed to be linked. The smaller boards aren't
I'd be surprised if the bluetooth has a different address for each board unless the name can be changed via software.

My bad, kabd 230. It shows to have a pair of line outs that can be controlled with its dsp. Didn't see anything about linking boards in the manual or what to do with bluetooth wjhen using multiples. Hoping to use the other kabd230 for the woofer, otherwise, I might have to put a boost/buck converter in there and up the voltage a little for a small sure amp to drive the sub.
"Can this unit be paired with an amplifier board such as the KABD series of amps? If so, would you have to disable the Bluetooth function of one of them, either the amp’s BT, or the preamp’s BT?"
Answer: " Yes you can disable the BT by programing on KABD card"
What version of the KABD-230 do you have? The current version (V4) has both line inputs and outputs.
So I liked his test with 1 amp and checking the voltage drops across each lead. Totally valid test. But trying to measure the diameter of stranded wire with a dial caliper or micrometer.... totally laughable.
Did you use any epoxy filler in those slabs, Eggie?
Yes, It was a rush job that I squeezed in so I used some tinted bondo on the bottom side first, then tinted countertop epoxy on the top side in layers or lifts.

YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They look great !
Thanks guys!!🤘🏼
I have four of them sold, $1200, tube preamp, ICEpower 700 power. Bass guitar.
It's all documented here:

Insomnia sucks my left nut.

Why an older CPU & MB? Did you find a steal of deal?
Yes, cheap enough. Prices escalate quickly as you hit 9th and 10th generation stuff.

I would think so. Wouldn't the BT from each board have it's own unique ID that shows up on your phone/tablet/laptop?
I used a line level converter back in the day to make a HP amp and LP amp in this build

Is that for a go cart?
It’s this.

That’s really nice !
That is so awsome looking Clay!
Sweet!! Nice job🤘🏼
Phenomenal execution!

Well this is interesting!
People in Oz would pay many thousands for a table and benches like that, lovely work and beautiful timber; absolutely stunning.

Little laugh for the day , watched it 10 times , laughed each time.

Actually on topic, but didn't want to start another thread for one question.
Unibox, when using 2 ports: how is port length reported? 2ports @3.18cm/1.25"id. Are both ports 3.18x15.5 or?

This is with 1port@3.18/1.25"
The "standard design" box usually I just ignore it.
The port length is further down in the left column of the non standard design area.

Yep what Ben said. That 15.88 cm^2 is the total port area. The port length is listed in cm down below the F3 value.
Thanks.
That would be 15.5cm length w/2ports or 6.92cm length w/1port. Going to get that cut and glued in before it gets dark.
