I just use the MS snipping tool.
I'm surprised C4 has to be that large, but if it's for phase alignment only... shrug I woulda bet half that by gut reaction.

I remember having a similar sim with this very same tweeter YEARS ago and Wolf told me the same thing back then. A 25uF exists in that very spot today. I'm not gonna pretend I was ever a xo savant then or now, but the eerie similarity was just worth noting.
My RUsher II design (Wow, that was almost 14 years ago) which used these same two drivers had a 47 uF cap where JR has the 50 uF. I don't remember specifically why.
So after an extensive measuring and tweaking session, I have arrived at this:
Still have not listened yet, but it is similar to other speakers that I really enjoy. Went from 3rd electrical on both to 2nd electrical on both, so saving some coin along the way. Not that it matters, I have all this shit in stock lol.
So I spent a lot of time yesterday listening to a few different iterations.
I'll probably solder things up this week sometime, after my ears reset and I have another session or two that is.
These Usher woofers are pretty nice.
Even with one channel being a little less sensitive the imaging is pretty solid. I just shift my ass a little to one side. Thought about tearing into them and doing custom padding but just not worth it IMHO.
Shout out to a couple forum members who made this possible with their helluva good deals on the drivers.
Now, the fun part... I might re-do these but with some changes to the cabinet design. I probably won't, but it would be fun to do something with facets or large round overs.
Bass is really opening up on these. They have such a loosey-goosey suspension I didn't think they would need much of a burn-in, but it is obvious they are changing, and for the better. The bass out of these is clean!
FWIW the impedance dropping below 4 ohms should not be a problem for any amp. The Dayton APA 150 drive it just fine, and if that cheapass amp can do it, pretty much any amp can. The phase is only about +5 degrees there anyways, so a fairly benign load. The Dreadnaught has no issues driving them louder than I normally listen.
I really like how these turned out, and depending on what I end up doing this summer should make an appearance at Iowa.

That tweeter 's response looks really nice to work with.
So, expensive ass crossover simulation here:
Might wire this up and see what's going on with it. Lucky for me I have a pile of 50uF poly caps.
XSim is fucking up picture files these days, not sure what is going on there. Oh well.

Nope.

Of course a smaller cap would work, but not as well. Not my first rodeo.
Seanscoil - old Irish for "Old School". Pronounced like "Sean's skull", or close enough to that.
Here is a smaller (33uF) capacitor version. I like it. Had to change a few other things to get it to smooth out in the XO region.
I'll see if I can wire this up today yet.

Upon listening to the above combo, I am pretty happy with the direction these are going.
For what it is worth. Distortion is SPL accurate at 30". Woofer and port nearfield. I don't usually post those measurements.
Great project! I hope you bring them to Iowa this Fall.
See what I can do.

Reminds me of the pair I built in the 90s but with the SS 18w8545k and the SS 9300 tweeter. They were pretty awesome.
Some consistency issues, so one channel will be a little warmer than the other I guess. Not really a dealbreaker, so it is what it is.

Damn shame Usher told DIY to go to hell.
Those would be cool in a tower format. Nice work, JR🤘🏼

Crossover I ended up with:

Those 8945A woofers never cease to amaze me. Incredible great bass and super clean midrange! I hope you bring them to Ankeny.
They should be there.
Rotated in to the Nerdery.
God these cabinets are ugly, I may have to do some body work and get them coated with something.
