Does the tweeter add that much to the full ranger? Is there any inspiration in this?

Anyone familiar with this design? Nothing really unique about it but it looks like it would be simple enough to emulate, at least as a starting point.

I can sure try a ball over the top of the TB and run it full range if there is interest ?
My mind has already moved onto a couple other options. I can throw it into the mix
