I imagine some beach/surf themed build where this sort of thing would fit in. Personally I wouldn't buy them with the intend of repainting or stripping the paint off, I'd just spend a few bucks more on the standard 10F if that were the case, but that's just me.

Brian actually cut his on all 4 sides to make them fit in his 'reference mini' design, so there is size appeal.
