Dio was a complete gentleman. He met us as we were setting up, thanked us for being there, and offered his crew for anything we needed. Was definitely the best show we were ever a part of.
...as for the hair, no. Long story short, my thyroid stopped working and one of the effects of it was my hair falling out, and not just on my head. Reguadless, I don't miss it. It was nice, but the up keep.... kudos to women and men that deal with all that.

I've had really great luck with the house brand at Farm and Fleet. I buy their top of the line (Platnium Series). Last one was good for 7 years. The one before that 8 years.

Senna was a great driver, but his 'win at all costs' driving rather put me off; there's a great interview of Ayrton with Jackie Stewart where Jackie asks him why, among all the great champions, he felt the need to run into people and risk lives. Apparently Ayrton didn't speak to him for many years after that.
Same with Schumacher (who's in a very sad situation and has been for some years) : his deliberately running into Damon Hill to secure the championship was disgraceful. You never saw Stewart, Moss, Andretti, Fangio, Brabham or Clark etc doing that.
We had a couple of those situations occur growing up. If they are not ran in conduit, a rock can drop in the ground and wear on the jacket. Water gets in and corrodes the aluminum to aluminum oxide.
What was interesting about it, was that half the house had power and half acted like it was running at under 110vac. Dim displays, not turning on, etc. Not like half the house on one side vs. the other either. Half the kitchen worked, half not, etc, really weird all around. After the second occurrence, they put conduit in.

Yep. Happens. In the beginning, it can be something as small as a nick from a shovel.

Absolutely. Big voice from that little guy! It was kinda comical seeing him looking up at Shaun, who's 6'1.
Been 30 years since broke any bone. Surgery Monday to put a plate in, broke fibula (smaller leg bone) in two places near ankle and prob some ligament damage - as left slipped on basement stairs right foot stayed planted, like in the old days of AstroTurf in football. But least more patient in mid older age where know time moves on.
Guess relegated to playing with new 3d printer and soldering
Looks familiar , did the same thing in some flip flops stepping INTO the house. Lower leg ended up looking like a water heater . All the blood pooled up at the bottom of the foot , never went to the doctor . Maybe shouldve.
Yeah I have that black n blue on the inside, though broken bone is on the outside - but ortho doc said could be ligament damage. Luckily I work remote doing backend coding for ecommerce so no need to drive anywhere. They not forcing us back to office as over last few years our digital platform peeps all over the county now and have always had about 40% in Bangalore. Though also helps that our work culture is everyone pulls their weight or would not be there. There was mass exodus of mid level coders cashing in on the crazy job market in late 2020 and 2021.
Though since mid-late 2023 job market horrendous. I've been chipper that my wife landed gig couple weeks ago after only 2 months unemployment. I was stressed out most of this year awaiting the choppy waters, but never prepared enough with everything nickel n diming these days. Gets hard securing right job at gen Xer age. --- err, avoid any political/social issue talk.
Heh, hopeful thinking that'll be on feet hobbling around in the boot early Jan and by the time be cleared from using the boot, scared it'll have sawdust and aluminum shavings stuck to it - guess I'll have to cover it up to hide being bad patient.
