  • Haven’t owned an LG refrigerator. But had a microwave at the old house- 0 problems. At the new place we originally had GE washer and dryer- washer worked once, dryer never. Replaced with LG front loaders and they are working great (about 3 yrs in). The GE kitchen appliances have no issues, and we put a GE refrigerator (simple, ie inexpensive) one in the basement.

  • We went to the local small appliance shop this morning. I'm going back tomorrow to pick up our new GE fridge that has a 10 year warranty. $150 more than the LG at the big box stores but it's exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for the feedback guys.

The wife and I were at Lowes inquiring about a Bosch cooktop display model on clearance and if they would mark it down lower. While he was gone I noticed how light it was. took off the grates and flipped it over to discover a sticker saying for display only. It had no internals and they didn't notice.

  • I had been running Parallels on my iMac and accessing work system remotely. Now with updated security they sent me a Dell laptop (won’t be using my personal iMac for work).

The downside is getting files / software re-setup on the Dell (and the small screen size). The GOOD news is I was able to download DATS (thought I might be restricted from downloading applications), and looking at using it for my next build.
