I concur. I haven't tested new stuff but what I tested from older generation was very good.

Here is an electronic crop on 48055.jpg.  It looks like the tweeter is set back into the woofer's voice coil by approximately 0.35 inch or so.  Would this be correct?

Kinda of my thought after messing with wave guides for the last month  Might be shallow and small enough to be a minor null.

Being set back isn't the problem, it's the transition between the cone and dome that may cause an issue.  We all know the only way to know for sure...

Be hard to beat up the build quality of the new Dayton coaxial drivers, however. Anyone with a wholesale account want to get a price for, say, Qty 20 of either of them?

Kind of ruins the fun of making my own coax.   I guess I cold glue the dust cap  back on my PK165

The 5.25" unit certainly looks interesting.  Not crazy about the mouth termination, but it could work. The 4" coax only has a .75" dome with a high FS and isn't as appealing.

CX150-8 5-1/4" = $28.31
