DS90 and no, surface mounted. I want it to be easy to duplicate. DS115 won't work in 3L.

Getting there:
Less than 3 Lt internal.

Volume was 3.3 Lt and had to add a little bracing, so made the baffle removable.
PS, didn't count speaker motor or xo volumes.

I've used a few sheet of it (3/4") now and I like it. Just make sure to clean out the inside of the enclosure (wood dust, specifically) to it sticks to the wood, other than that, never had a problem with it. It's super heavy, really impressive every time I pull it out of the package.

Thanks for the info.  I have a pair of these tweeters, but have not used them yet because I was afraid that I would cross them too low and burn them out.  6kHz sounds about right.

So, after rereading Wolf's nanotech specs, I have to shorten the depth by 1/2". No beer during this operation.

By meeting the 3L volume, box tuning increased by 4Hz and F3 increased by 3Hz. Fine by me, just want to be cool with the rules.

If you look at the box interior shot, I added those 3/4" strips to meet the 3L gross volume.
