Thanks guys. Yep, those bass bins are now being used in their 3rd design. Some day maybe I will actually veneer them and make them look all pretty. I keep reusing them because those NE225W-4 just sound so freaking good and an F3 of 32 Hz gets it done!
I was able to finish soldering up the prototype crossovers for these this morning. My son and I just gave them a first listen. I need to tweek the tweeter padding a bit. Otherwise the bass and midrange sound stellar. These image really well.
Glad to hear you're finally getting to dial these in. I'll bet they sound great. Those cabinets are too cool! The straight grained oak almost makes them look fluted. I would love to hear them. Will they make an appearance at any of the gatherings next year?
