  • I was thinking the same thing on the Molisio. Take to the taxidermist and restuff it , or maybe at least take it apart see whats going on inside.

  • Got a link to these supposed marvels, Reid?

  • That is impressive. Price isn't too bad. Thanks for sharing.

Glad I bought four, those are beautiful.

  • I've got a project brewing using these as the midrange and the old school Viawave RT850 up top. If I can find a high-end 8" woofer or a pair of 7" woofers of equal quality... Wait, I have those Rival carbon fiber jobbers that would be perfect. Hmmm... I have two active 8" standmounts right now perhaps this will come after those. I really do not want to buy any more drivers so will use what I have.

It is definitely an OEM version of that driver. Great midrange driver with excellent distortion and very flat response. Again, glad I bought four of them.

I couldn’t get the whole thing apart but if you look at the picture above, I don’t see any residue on the coil like most tweeters do when they have Ferrofluid? But you can see some copper in there.

  • I am wondering what the XT looks like with an impedance compensation circuit for the notch on it during the distortion measurements. Wolf suggested that on one of my builds, and it makes an audible difference, especially when doing sweeps at higher volume. Always wondered what it does for distortion.

  • Chinese driver on the left. The Chinese SB driver has an aluminum face plate.

  • The china beast is great at 2.5K, good at 1800. Have a link? Does it compare in cost to the Peerless Beast - it 30$ at madisound on sale now.

Not anymore it doesn’t. Cost of Neo is killing speaker prices from China.

This driver could not take 4.24v distortion test.🤷🏻‍♂️

That looks like it could be an amazing mid or full range assisted.
