Ah...... kids. Actually that Maiden cover was really good. It got me to pull up a couple old videos of my kids, when they were trying the "band" thing. It only lasted a couple years but it was fun as hell.
My oldest is the rhythm guitarist and my youngest is the drummer. Shit, this was 13 years ago.
It was quite impressive how easily he seemed to get those back to new. I had tried with a name tag and that was never going to work. He found some duct tape and worked his magic.

Kids are cute. Stay until 5:15 for the piano
Hell yeah, great rendition of a couple classics🤘🏼
Unfortunately on Number of the Beast I have to give the bass player a -2 for using a pick and playing the solo a octave to low.

I was going through @4thtry Bill's pics and I came across this series. I had no clue this even happened. Bill, your photos are awesome. Thanks!!
I'm in the process of getting these shareable. Please stay tuned.
Thanks for the receiver John and thanks for the deal on the phono preamp Brian. Both were gifted to a young musician last weekend and left for Georgia this morning. Here's Sam Rae on Cello.
I had a minor setback recently where my workstation decided to take a shit on me....for good this time. So my already overdue MAC website overhaul is going to have to wait until after the Holidays. So please enjoy the pictures via Box.com for now. Eventually the DIY event archive will be updated on the website.

Doctor John has become the unofficial "diy hand model" for midwest audio events:

In hindsight I should have bought a few of those large gauge air cores from Brian. Oh well, easy come easy go.
maybe Brad will make you a deal...
I got a few, but should have bought more.
Hi all.
For the time being, here's the link to a Box folder with the Iowa DIY photo roll from @4thtry (Bill S). Thanks again Bill!
