Hello fellow DIY brethren. It's time to start the planning for IOWA DIY 2023.
Following prior years' events we typically aim for the third week of October. So Oct 20/21 would be optimal barring any overwhelming sporting events that may hamper our logistics.
Shoutout to our local Des Moines members, would you kindly weigh in to confirm that the weekend of October 20/21/22 is free of crazy university sporting events?
Many thanks and looking forward to another Iowa DIY gathering.
Details forthcoming!!

Looks like you're good. Let's DO THIS!
Great excite
anyway we can do 27/28 as a possible option?
20/21 Looks Great!
20/21 is perfect for me and I think Curt as well.
Yeah, best for me work-wise
20/21 is good for me.
20/21 works for me too.
But will Party Marty make it?
I’m looking forward to getting back in touch with you guys at the Iowa event. Closest to Colorado, a mere 830 mi (one way) road trip.
I can make either work. 20/21 is a little better.

I'll be bringing several pairs, the two I've very recently been working on and possibly O'Ryan.
I will be bringing at least two new, never before demo'd projects to Iowa.
I’ll be bring some interesting crap again.

I'll have a few things at fire sale prices.
Me as well. And this GTG I'm coming home with LESS than I brought. Unlike this year's Indy.
Maybe less money Craig.
That's me every year.
Count me in! I don't have any new speakers to show at this point, but it's still a few months away.
Finally. The last 2 years have been no go, this year...
Current plane ticket prices are stupid. Will monitor prices and see.
Going to bring some candy again if you make it?
I should be able to get some here.
You coming this year Nick? Haven't seen you since the first DIY-SD when you and JR and the gang brought all that wonderful smoked meat and food!
Gonna try , I took an IT job with a larger Coop in the state , so will see what happens with harvest season this year.
Cool Nick. Hope that works out.
Flights to Des Moines are 450 right now.
In perspective, I can fly to Chicago for less than 200.
Heck, I payed about 450 to Mexico...
